From simple idea to a £150m Global Business in 4Yrs
We love simple ideas, particularly when they become a huge success. That’s just what Jamie Beaton, 21 and Sharndré Kushor, 22 have achieved with Crimson Education, worth an estimated £150m.
Crimson Education started when the academically talented teenager Jamie Beaton realised that there was not enough support for kids who wanted to get into the world’s top universities.
Along with his business partner Sharndré Kushor he started to consider solutions for kids who wanted to get into Ivy League schools. Crimson was born, an online tutoring and mentoring company which has grown to include over 20,000 students on its books.
Whilst Jamie and Sharndre are quite clearly astute operators with proven entrepreneurial ability, the idea is a really simple one. It just goes to show that ideas don’t have to be complex to be hugely successful.
